August Intercultural Trips to Turkey | August 7th-15th, 2007

Turkey TripOn August 7th, Rumi Forum began its intercultural trip to Turkey. The cities that were visited on the trip were Istanbul, Bursa, Manisa, Izmir, Kayseri and Cappadocia. The group visited many sites in each of these cities among them Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Ephesus, Virgin Mary’s home, Cappadocia museum and many more.

Orientation for the August trip to Turkey | July 16th, 2007

Turkey TripsThe Rumi Forum hosted an orientation dinner and program for the participants of Rumi Forum’s Intercultural Trips to Turkey in August 2007.  Guests enjoyed delicious Turkish cuisine, a presentation of the Rumi Forum and a short informational film of Turkey.  Trip participants also were provided with specific details about the upcoming trips.
   

Reunion of 2nd May trip to Turkey | June 30th, 2007

Turkey TripsThe Rumi Forum hosted members of the May 2007 Intercultural Trip to Turkey. Trip participants enjoyed a special Turkish dinner prepared by Rumi Forum Associates and then viewed photo presentation of their trip. The trip participants shared photos and memories from their trip.

Reunion of 1st May trip to Turkey | June 28th, 2007

Turkey TripsParticipants of the Rumi Forum’s 1st May 2007 Intercultural Trip to Turkey came together for a reunion dinner hosted by Maria Mariani. Everyone enjoyed good food provided by trip participants and good conversation. The trip participants also viewed a photo presentation of their trip prepared by the Rumi Forum.

May Intercultural Trips to Turkey | May 14th-22nd, 2007

Turkey TripsThe Rumi Forum’s May 2007 second intercultural trip to Turkey began on the 14th of May and concluded on the 22nd of May. Group visited the following cities on the trip: Istanbul, Bursa, Manisa, Izmir, Kayseri and Cappadocia. The group visited many sites in each of these cities among them Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Ephesus, Virgin Mary’s home, Cappadocia open air museum and many more.

Reunion of December 2006 Trip to Turkey | January 19th, 2007

tripsParticipants of the Rumi Forum’s December 2007 Intercultural Trip to Turkey came together for a reunion dinner hosted by Father Paul Lee. Everyone enjoyed good food provided by trip participants and good conversation. The trip participants also viewed a photo presentation of their trip prepared by the Rumi Forum and watch the DVD of their trip. The Rumi Forum would like to specially thank the Father Paul Lee for opening his home for this reunion and each trip participant for their very special and unique contributions to a wonderful intercultural and interfaith experience that will be remembered for a lifetime.
