Devastation and Desperation in Haiti

We at the Rumi Forum are deeply saddened by the devastation of the recent earthquake in Haiti. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who have perished and those who have survived this disastrous event. The Rumi Forum encourages it’s friends to contribute in any way possible to the many aid organizations working on the ground to help the people of Haiti.

Rumi Forum’s Statement on the incident at Ft. Hood

We at the Rumi Forum are deeply saddened by the horrific and deplorable events that took place at Ft. Hood on November 5, 2009. Our heartfelt condolences go out to our service men and women who lost their lives and who were injured. We pray for the Fount of Mercy to place comfort and patience in the hearts of the victim’s family members. We continue to hold our U.S. service men and women and the American people in our thoughts and prayers.
