The Rumi Forum is to organize four Intercultural Trips in May 2008. The trips aim to provide a broad exposure to Turkish culture and to promote mutual understanding between the participants and Turkish counterparts through dialogue and discussion. The cities that will be visited - will differ according to the specifications of the group- are Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Konya, Urfa, Kayseri and Cappadocia.  Participation is by invitation only.

The Rumi Forum hosted the second 'Steps to Muslim-Christian Dialogue: A Brainstorming Meeting' on May 7th. The Nursi Chair in Islamic Studies and Cardinal Suenens Center were the co-organizers of the event.
