3rd Annual 2011 Ramadan Community Ramadan Tent in Fairfax

ImRumi Forum Fairfax chapter organized the 2011 Community Ramadan Tent annually with its partners in Fairfax to bring together members of the community around the table to share in a meal and be a catalyst for dialogue.

2011 Annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner Series

ramadanRamadan is an important month during which Muslims perform the fast and increase their spirituality. As part of Ramadan the Turkish American community through activities of the Rumi Forum organize numerous Iftar Dinners through out the DC metropolitan area and the surrounding states.

Iftar Dinner at Norfolk Waterside Marriott

IftarMore than 210 Hampton Roads residence gathered in Waterside Marriott on September 6th for Iftar dinner. The event was sponsored by Rumi Forum and Better Understanding Club of Old Dominion University.

3rd CONGRESSIONAL RAMADAN IFTAR DINNER

mainThe Rumi Forum hosted its traditional annual Congressional Interfaith and Intercultural Ramadan Iftar Dinner on Capitol Hill. Guests included Turkish Ambassador to US, Congressional Staffers, Prominent Scholars, Diplomatic Representatives, Clergy and members of the media.
